What we cannot help with
My Insurance Expert provides independent information and acts as an introducer. We are not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority, so there are some things we are not able to do:
- We cannot give insurance advice or tell you which product or insurer is right for you.
- We cannot provide quotes or prices for a policy.
- We cannot handle policy or claims questions — including changes, cancellations, renewals or complaints about a policy.
For any of those, please contact your chosen FCA-authorised broker or insurer directly — they hold your policy details and are regulated to advise you. If you have already started an enquiry with us, the matched broker will be in touch with you directly.
Response expectations
We are a small editorial team, so please bear with us. We aim to read and respond to genuine enquiries within a few working days. Media and correction requests are prioritised. We do not send unsolicited marketing, and we will never ask for your bank or card details by email — if you receive a message claiming to be from us that does, please do not reply to it.
